There is no point in pausing before an obvious hype and crucial moment and spinning theories about it when you will get to know everything 10 secs later anyway. Nobody is saying that they should just sit mute and react after. It is normal to pause for 10-15 secs and try to recollect your thoughts, not starting theories. Pausing before the reveal is NOT a problem. What I like about these reactors is they're actually invested in the story enough to make theories, unlike others who are just hyped all the time without understanding the deeper themes of the show. So I actually like hearing their thoughts before big reveals. That said, I DO wish they review all information they know so far before making all those theories. Most of the assumptions they use to make theories could easily be debunked by rewatching an episode or two. For example, assuming Shisui is alive and walking around blind somewhere is wrong. He's confirmed long dead with both eyes lost. Love the theory crafting! Just wish the theories were backed by correct assumptions, not so easily debunkable by lore already established by the show.
