When he was writing Madara I feel like his process was to think about what the worst possible next thing Madara could do would be, and that's what he went with.

Fun fact: a lot of people think the uzamki clan is related to the senju clan *1st hokages clan* because hashirama married mito uzamki. But actually if you look at the picture of the uzamki clan standing next hashirama and his senju clan, hashirama is very young standing next to a very old elder of the uzamki clan. That means the uzamki clan have been around for a very long time. They were distance blood relatives before hashirama was born. And the only bloodline directly form hashirama only include the 5th hokage and her little brother who are hashiramas grand kids. Remember what fake Madara said, the sage of six paths had two kids Indra who’s bloodline became the uchiha clan and ashra who’s bloodline became the senju clan. But from what Naruto’s mom said uzamki clan are distant blood relatives to the senju clan. Which means ashara had more than one kid, one was skilled at jutsu for fighting so proably founded the senju clan. Another one wasn’t so much good at jutsu for fighting so used it for sealing like what Naruto’s mom said about the uzamki clan sealing jutsu. Which is probably why no one remembers the uzamki clan. Senju and uchiha were known because they were good at jutsu for great ninja wars. Uzamki were not so they weren’t in the spot light. Also madara also said that the descendants of the sage of six paths sons are fated to fight. He said Naruto and sasuke are next in line for fighting. Not because is Naruto is a descendant of the younger brother ashra through senju clan but from uzamki clan.
