So, I'll be honest I'm baffled again by the Naruto 'fandom'.. (which is impossible to please.) Firstly, if you don't want the game because you feel its more copy/paste. Fine. But, where do people keep getting the notion theres no story mode? For christ sake. CC2 has pointed out multiple times already their following the story up to the current episode near its (the games) release. They added in some bonus content, such as the Akatsuki story, the Kushina Story, and a few others to compensate for lack of progression within the story. And more to the point added in a giant tournament which is getting the most focus for the reason above. The Dragon Ball fandom is absolutely sick of playing through the story Raditz to Kid Buu and thus the idea for Xenoverse was crafted. A non canon story that allows you to time travel through the canon story to alter it. And it looks amazing and nobody is whining. Naruto adds some non-canon material and you all go nuts and demand a story. And say you dont want the bonus content. If it was just the story, think of how short the game would be. Plus this is a fighter we're talking about. Most fighters don't update movesets nor do they have long fun fluid stories. Don't get the game if it doesn't interest you. But jeez. Rant over.
