about the free counter, its not imbalanced, its all about timing, you can cancel your dash and hit your enemy with a jutsu or just dash again

Of course, but also remember that the counter is free now, and no matter how many times you bait the dash, your rival can spam the counter for ever and it doesn't have cooldown.

It really seems to me, that this game is just a test for new mechanics just like it was with generations and revolution. Plus they want to know will people buy more Boruto stuff. So if this game will go well to the audience, they probably release a full fledged Boruto storm five. But personally I won't probably buy connections. It doesn't seem to me like it'll be worth it

Most likely yes. Every storm game has that option. I don't know why they remove that. Most likely we will. The question is... will they have the option where the battle actually ends in practice mode. To make it feel like a real battle.
