After the small learning curve it is most def pay to win. Fight someone with the same degree of intelligence as you and your getting folded. Use base game ATK jutsu and weapons vs the opponent with the most meta ATK build.

the problem for me is the eso scrolls. i have 400 hours played but i’m getting tired. Opened 70 eso for crimson star and only got 1 SS, atleast it was sun medecin but farming eso is too long. to get to s1 you need 70~ games if you WIN during ninja league just for 20 eso. Battle reward eso are so rare and you get 2 per weekly challenges… Meaning you can win 24 eso every two weeks only without counting the one you get each 10 levels and the battle rewards one which drop so freaking rarely. they should make ultra hard boss battles with guaranteed esos

I wouldn’t say it’s pay to win but more get friends to win. Playing this game with no friends makes it pretty boring. I’ve bought everything and I get easily bored cause I don’t have friends so I keep losing online cause teams of 4 gang up on me, and most of the time teammates leave so I’m stuck fighting 4 people online talking to each other coordinating attacks and stuff by myself, it sucks not having friends. I even have to buy moonlight scrolls every time I want something in the shop cause I don’t earn them enough (you earn most of them online from winning)

@@HD2K Buddy I love your content but when charka claws are from the ten ten shop, with SS rate, that ain't free. That's a gacha system that you can exploit by whaling real money, which would support the argument of pay to win. Arguing esotaric scrolls are free to get and roll means you're essentially supporting the rates, and that they're not predatory in nature. With the poor rates of how often SS come out, and with SS weapons often being objectively stronger than "free" weapons, then it bleeds into pay to win territory. Even the ranged Crimson Star, which is only attainable through Ten Ten shop, is undeniably the best ranged weapon tool in the game. And how about Ninjutsu DLC? Reanimated Itachi healer move, which costs REAL money, has easily the best damage dealing healing move in the game. That doesn't mean there aren't ways to beat it, and ways to win against it, but when a mechanic that you CAN pay for in a game is readily available in such a way, it supports the argument of the game being pay to win. That doesn't mean you can't win without paying, or that free to play isn't viable. Pay to win is a spectrum, not a black and white kind of deal.

The game isn't pay to WIN but the game definitely isn't free to play friendly (Wich isn't necessarily a bad thing). There isn't a single build from this video that can't be made significantly better through dlc to the point where the original build is useless. build 1 - swap rising wind with ogo build 2 - swap lions with majestic build 3 - swap for sus armor build 4 - swap heavy bould for yasaka player with dlc (A) vs player without dlc (B).. both using the same types If A and B are equal in skill, A will win more often than B For B to beat A, B needs to be a better player For A to beat B, A can get away with thinking less In a team setting, B will always get the job done, but A will most likey have an easier time doing it and might even add more value Not a single DLC move is toooo overpowered, but certain DLC builds examples: Defense -H strike, Sus armor, Time space hop, hidden mist ult Healer - yasaka beads, truth seeking orb, emergency exit, 100 healings This builds aren't going to be beaten by non dlc builds easily, some players might have to be SIGNIFICANTLY better than the dlc player to even win My idea to reducing the gap between dlc players and f2p players would be to add a "ranked" game mode where certain combinations are banned. Like certain abilities are banned from being paired with other things that make the ability/weapon/tool too strong. ex: Sus armor and H strike alone aren't banned. But sus armor and H strike together is. Sharingan isn't banned. But sharingan is banned from being paired with moves that close the distance in an advantageous manner (ogo, imperial) It's hard to not feel bad for plyers who bought the game at full price and then the dlcs. Dlcs def make the game more fun to play

I'd say a great ranged non dlc build would be: Amaterasu Inferno style flame control Shadow clone jutsu And either Kirin or Totsuka Blade whichever you prefer. All Geared up Armed and Dangerous One in a million or Battle hardened. Kusanagi sword and Senbons. The jutsus reduce defense which allows massive damage with senbons.

@@HD2K Perhaps it is. My original thought with those 2 was to have an Amaterasu gimmick build. But then proceeded to kick some serious ass with it and have been using it since. You hit the one of the jutsus as well as all three senbons you can nearly one-shot ranged and healers, between 40&50% on defense, and between 50&60% on melee.

All everybody run is Susano armor,renagan,and space time hop. There are plenty more broken ones but those are the most broken for me. But I always feel like I’m at a disadvantage or fighting against impossible odds to win.

I wouldn't say p2w. And I wouldn't say it's not p2w. It's just DLC jutsus offer more than what the base jutsus can. For me it i can simplify it like this. If it takes 5 steps to execute base game jutsu combo, the dlcs only take 2-3 steps to execute. Ofc not all combos are like this but most base game jutsus are. And you can compensate and win with skill. But not all are skillful enough.

The DLCs are broken, especially for healer and defense. And if it's easier to progress/win with dlcs, then the game is p2w. I think people who say that this game isn't pay to win already have some DLCs. dlc does have most of the op ninjutsu, since the more op ninjutsu you have the less skill you would need compare to base ninjutsu that you would require more effort to counter even the NEW DLCs so yeah it is 100% p2w in that aspect.

@@sejisami9958 lol have you watched real comp teams. They all run the same jutsu. Everyone is rocking timespace hop 24/7 or the blue moon sword for base. Yes one can use these non dlc jutsu, but do not get mad when someone just as intelligent is running dlc and spanks your behind. The skill curve in this game is not that deep at least not as complicated as Elden Ring pvp. Where one has to learn hard swapping, roll catching, reverse back steps, spacing etc

That's because people who ain't f****** good at the game get a hold of those and think by spamming the y button they actually are good at the game and they're not they don't even bother trying to combo somebody up into the y they just automatically start spanning why I've had it to where I've had someone try to chase me down and spend one over 30 times and have missed me 20 times with doing that and yes it gets really annoying when you're trying to fight and they're bitching about one respecting 1v1's but they don't want to do it themselves

I agree, the only time it is arguably pay to win is hackers who illegally buy accounts and will get banned eventually, other than that it takes skills and grinding to unlock ninja tools etc. All the noobs think its p2w, I see them using cheese loadouts expecting it to carry them and getting wrecked by veteran players,there's a reason veterans have gold or plat medals they know the game inside out. Lastly for all the pay2 win whiners,last time I checked bandai is a company not working for free so stop complaining about p2w

I agree with you, but can you tell me a cheese loadout? Cause most of the free ninjutsu are crap. The only thing that matters in my opinion is the skill we have and the gear we have. Like who will have the upper hand? The one that spams invisibility and majestic fire balls or the one with the double ability gear with the energy claws(i don't know their name....) / Twinblade(for tanks) and purple lighting, who from the moment they hit us we will see the unlimited wombo combo of the death itself?

Lmaf dude the game is 1000000% pay to win after a point if you don’t have any dlc caractère you’re just fcked no matter the build u have no matter the play style you have the technics you get by paying are just too good to be slept on while you have some skills doing maybe one or two things at once you have dlc skills that literally you says win the game.
