Storm 1 Kabuto's Awakening is Close to The Anime. It would be Awesome if Awakening Had Attack Boost, Hits drains Chakra, and Super Recovery Mode Effect in Exchange for Chakra Cost.

It doesn't. Either the nostalgia or the color filters, cinematic ultimate jutsu camera and the poor presentation of UNS2 lets you think that, also the characters stick out less from the backgrounds. Also, Storm 1 has thicker cel-shading outlines and the camera is slightly closer to the character models. It's minimal differences that makes you think it looks better. UNS4 looks way better for lots of reasons, the resolution alone. Its also clever how UNS1 hid certain graphical flaws while the other games didn't. Objects like rocks or Kimimaro's bones really stick out from the surroundings when they come out of the ground. Ninja Storm 1, unlike UNS2-UNSR hid that by zooming in on the attacks, not showing the ground during e.g. ultimate jutsus so it looks less crappy. UNS4 fixed that by having textures on rocks (e.g. during Sasuke's rinnegan attacks) and other objects, because the hardware allowed it.

I think they had no need for it and wanted to simplify it (one combo has to throw the opponent up into the air, one knock them down, one push them away), that's also why they changed some of the combos. And they needed the left/ right stick motion for another feature, forgot which.
