This boss battle broke my heart, watching jiraiya die is one thing, actually controlling him and feeling helpless when he’s dying is another, and then CC2 did the exact same thing with future gohan in kakarot

He even did some pretty cool techniques with all the frogs. Naruto is a worthy successor since at the end, he talked with Nagato instead of killing him

That's like saying if the whole ninja alliance banned together they would have taken out Madara. Thing is Madara took himself out and Jiraiya doesn't go into true sage mode. So he would have more of a chance to lose if all Pains went after him at once. Also there is the fact that if Naguto is alive then all six paths of pain can be summoned over and over again
