In the ultimate ninja games existed three clases of finishers: ultimate jutsu, reversal(in some characters causes the transformación) and awakening(when happens once is transformes). Since Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm....the reversal finishers were eliminated because You don't know if your opponent You Will survive to the reversal(the new condition for awakening is have your hp in Orange)

Some exceptions are the characters who can transform by will(Hyugas Byakugan, uchihas Sharingan, the eight Gates modes, etc). In that case....they can use awakening finishers since the beggining.

The best finishers for me of Naruto ultimate ninja storm: Sasuke's finishers 0:51-2:02 The third hokage finisher 9:48-10:15 Orochimaru finisher 11:10-11:34 Kabuto's finisher 11:38-12:04 And last but not least.. Itachi's finisher 13:02-13:28 now those are some scary and bad ass finishers! :D

Chris Banks the reason they shortened them up was because they wanted the games to appeal to people in the FGC community and while also pleasing fans of the series. I mean these juitsus look great and all but they also slow down the fast pace of the battles. Plus people like to spam ultimates alot.. I feel like they should put a turn on turn off button for long juitsu short juitsu.

@@kennethsmithjr7166 I've never watched a storm tournament because I don't find 3D arena fighters most of time appealing in a competitive aspect, but are players really landing these Ultimate moves? Because it seems pretty hard to get one to land especially on someone who's supposed to be a high level competitor, unless there are cheesy unblockable set-ups. These game often are just casual cash grab (Jump force/storm series/MHA/OPM) with most of the time bad mechanics and heavily unbalanced cast with. Unless you really like the source material it isn't worth, especially as a FG.

The first Storm game was BY FAR the best Naruto game ever made. Unfortunately they had to fuck it up by making the ultimate moves no better than regular jutsu and making awakenings overpowered as fuck. I refuse to buy any sequels until they nerf awakenings and make special moves as awesome as the ones in this video.

These Ultimate Jutsus are amazing when you can execute them once in the fight (as a finisher, ofc), but it gets preety annoying if you use them 3 or more times during a fight (spamming). The cutscene lasts too long which results in a boring game. That's why CC2 shortened the UJs in later games so they can be used frequently. I also liked later versions cuz of more playable characters, especialy ones that can perform jutsus in a combo (jutsu-oriented fighters) like Kakashi, Minato and other similar characters. This game is not included for the PC so yeah, Revolution rocks this time :)

I never understood why Sakura never got her own jutsu after all this time. She is not only a main character, but she is surrounded by the most powerful shinobi in the village, you'd think she would have picked something up

At this point in the story, now as an adult Sakura has her Thousand Strength Seal and her Chakra enhanced strength as offensive techniques, but back in the old days of classic Naruto, before she trained with Tsunade, Sakura barely had the basics of any Shinobi, the only thing special about her then was her Inner Sakura, which was basically the living manifestation of her horrible and dangerous temperament. 😅

As a quote to someone else's explanation: Naruto used the Chakra cloak of the Nine Tails as a shield to maintain the shape of the Rasengan. So, he was able to focus on the power and rotation aspects. The reason Naruto uses clones is to act just like the chakra cloak, he himself can focus on Power and Rotation, and his clones do the Chakra control. Making the process easier for himself. The Kyuubi Chakra mode Naruto has chakra hands do that process as well. Hope this helped.

Defenetly best storm according to jutsu and ultimate jutsus. Each one with its own cinematic, sound track and even the effects of the ultimate ( Ino poison for example or Hiruzen Shiki fujin ). I miss this effort they put in gameplay and not only story mode. Anyways, not gonna blame the developers cuz since storm 3 The roster went to another level and it would have been a lot of work.

@Sub Saibot Actually, to me the whole Open-Konoha aspect in the first game was just super boring and the way they did the Storytelling in Storm 1 was pretty bad as well. I think that the following entries actually improved in that regard. I was kinda bummed about the shorter animations for the Ultimate Jutsus as well, but after a while I started to like them. I remembered thatr I didn't use the Ultimate Jutsus in Storm 1 after a while since I got kinda annoyed watching those long animations again and again. They definitely looked cool, but I didn't want to sit through them again after the fifth time I saw them.

Pedro Henrique Well, it still is. When you look at the team ultimates, they do last long enough to amaze you over and over, however the difference is that most of the screen time goes on preparation for a single combined jutsu that ends with a bang (might be boring for some players but I like it). Still one of the most asked features and we got it in Revolution and Storm 4 thank god. Orochimaru's Ultimate needs to die, Choji's Ultimate as well, and Ino's. Sakura is a good example how a ultimate should be reworked.

They should've made a choice of multiple Ultimate Jutsus that will only be unlocked depending on the progress of the game, also should've made support-only characters playable.
