Sasuke telling Naruto he had become his closest friend wasn't because he wants to kill him. "This has meaning"is Sasuke's way of saying I have to kill you to get the Mangekyou Sharingan. When I first started watching Naruto, I had to watch with subtitles because it was only showing in Japanese on Crunchyroll. Eventually they would do English dubbing, but I had grown to love hearing the original Japanese voice actors' performances so much that trying to watch with the English speaking actors was impossible.
