Kurama is definitely a Cheetor retool, a really heavy one at that. And it does look really awesome, then again that's just a great mold to begin with. I feel like Gamakichi is eventually going to become Diver, not Spittor. We got Tasmania Kid instead of Snarl, so I feel like we're going to get more toys under their BW2/Neo names for characters who appeared in the animes instead of the Mainframe cartoon.

The Burden Hardest to Bear is so good, characterization, plot, and art are amazing. I loved that for some reason, Scourge of all people still revered the Matrix. The Chaar throne room is really cool. Also, I love Rodimus as an introspective leader.

Part of me guessed is that the fact that they didn't retool BumbleBee's head may have been based off from the e-Hobby exclusive where they released the G1 BumbleBee toy with a cartoon accurate head. Not just Seaspray. New Deluxe toys for Windcharger and Powerglide as well...

Good to see you and your family okay. Regarding TF One, I watched TF One with a friend who knrw nothing about Tf and he too loved it. He told me he was actually surprised how good it was. As for the collaboration, I never thought we'd get an official collaboration of Naruto of all things. Beast mode takes it for me tbh. Don't really care for Naruto but it looks cool(ngl tho I really hope they do a Sonic collaboration someday).

Well, it could be like the previous Walmart exclusive G1 my minibot reissue Bumblebee uses the cartoon head instead of the toy accurate head. Which was introduced in the Japan transformers G1 collection toy line. And also the original G1 Gears toy visor was always blue I think.

I still find it a bit of a shame Bumblebee didn’t get the Goldbug head, I get that there was another G1 Bumblebee toy that had the cartoon accurate head, but tbh I just wanted to have Goldbug in yellow with opaque windows. Ah well, hopefully though we get the Speedia 500 Hot Rod in this line that’d be nice.

That NewAge Megatron is going to be the one to get. It’s going to be infinitely better than the ss86 one simply because he is a gun. The ss86 one may be really accurate in the robot mode somehow, but he’s going to be a tank so it delegitimizes it. He looks damn good as well with ss86 Optimus. I’m a firm believer that G1 prime was taller than G1 megatron anyways. Since it hasn’t released yet, I do wonder if they might upscale him a touch to match a little better.

I hope they make figures of Shukaku, Gyūki, & Son Gokū! Shukaku would make for a cool deluxe size Rattrap, Gyūki would make for a great Octopunch mold since Gyūki is supposed to be octopus-like, & Son Gokū would most likely be a retool of Optimus Primal.

I 100% lay the blame at TOHO's feet for this one. They've been known in the past to be EXCEEDINGLY stingy with how the Godzilla trademark and the monsters' likenesses get used in the past, so with the collab turning out the way it did as others keep pumping out peak figures? It HAS to be Toho's doing, at this point...

Thanks for putting Newage Romulus on my radar - I hadn't heard about this figure until now and it looks great! I've honestly been wanting more third party CHUG alternatives (not a fan of Legends scale and MP scale are so expensive). I was very lucky to have purchased a third party Toyworld Hegemon back in the day and while I have not dug him out yet, I believe he scales quite well with SS86 Optimus Prime...

Glad to hear you and your family are safe. That Megatron is pretty cool, but why does he not come with the stock and silencer? Without those, he STILL doesn't have his original alt mode hahaha. Yeah, it's a shame it's shorter than Studio Series Optimus, but sounds like that couldn't be helped. I mean, Megatron never had a sword in the cartoon, but he never transformed without his stock and silencer, either. So, neither are accurate. Hopefully they come out with a slightly larger version that includes the stock and silencer. Very odd omission.

That Naruto crossover is surreal to see. It makes me wonder what happened with the Godzilla crossover. This makes me want to see more anime crossovers, like Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! The retro line is a cool idea, but I think it's a missed opportunity not to use the SS86 Bumblebee with the toy head, especially since the alt mode on the SS86 Bumblebee is much closer to the G1 penny racer car. At least Gears looks good. Brawn and Seaspray should be interesting. As for that CHUG Megatron, I'm interested, but it depends on the price. If it's around the leader price range, I might go for it.

Weird how the retro g1 toy inspired Bumblebee turns into a screen accurate vw, and the studio series version turns into a penny racer like the original toy. Backwards if you ask me. And neither one has the toy face, or the toon accurate blue windows

Ok, Retro Gears is perfect. Great toy, great idea. Retro Bumblebee, couple gripes. 1, why reseal this mold in a exclusive deal? 2, Why not release this in SS86 instead of the other non-toon accurate mold? 3, Why no the 1984 toy accurate head? People already spent money on SS86 because no one told them this was coming. I don't understand Hasbro sometimes. Thanks for the news!

Naruto not my thing, but good for fans of it. Throwback Bee & Gears is cool, but Hasbro really should have put the G1 toy head/face on Bee. As for the bootleg “Megatron” , Newage, is a day late & a dollar short. It doesn’t scale well with SS86 Optimus Prime. The price for it is ridiculous, $150+. Sadly, it’s what TF enthusiasts need to buy since Hasbro is dropping the ball.

Well, considering what we were going to get, I am excited that we're getting the netflix mold once more, but... is the toy deco really that necessary? never mind that we're getting the toy accurate colors, the figure should've been opaque plastic when the Netflix figure was released a few years ago, but that Gears figure? I'm all for it, especially since I missed out on it the first time. And Naruto? I was not expecting that series to be in the collaboration line, f course, Transformers is no stranger to crossovers (See what I did there?) I, myself, want to see most of the old Star Wars Transformers figures to be redone, some rereleased as they are because about half of them were perfect, and some of them were flawed in the first place, the first Jedi Starfighter mold was plagued with a lot of issues, and the later running change with the X-wing mold was not ideal. Darth Vader's Tie Advanced? the only thing I can say that the figure needs is to rework the forearms and the elbows to make them one piece with the hands still separate.

I Know I'm Really Late but anyways I'm Not Sure if it's some kind of a License Thing? Or simply Popularity Thing or some other Issue? But for Me Personally It would've made more Sense for them to start off with a Gundam X Transformers Crossover if they wanted to Start Crossing with Anime, especially with Gundam Wing as Three Gundams already Have Transformation Capabilities, and those Gundams are Wing Zero, Gundam 01, and the Epyon. And even the Destroyer Gundam from Gundam Seed Destiny has Transformation Capabilities Sort Of. But maybe someday? If they really a Gundam X Transformers I Not Only be the First to Order but also it be the First Transformers Wave or whatever that I want to Collect in Full but also maybe buy Multipole Copies os that I could Display them in Both Robot Mode and Alt Mode. And I would Actually do it to Literally. So Obviously I Really Hope they Do a Gundam X Transformers Crossover.

Greedy. 2024 hasbro can be described in one word. Greedy. They could've given us a proper Spittor when Kingdom started.
