While this novel doesn’t have the action packed feats that the other novels have had. I’ve been tottering on if this could still be my favorite novel, but after this review, I can 100% say this has been my favorite novel covered so far. This novel is basically the 13th chairman arc of HXH. It's very politically driven, chess moves being made, and you see Naruto in a new arena...politics where he cant just rasengan someone and make them listen, nor can he just talk no jutsu them in one shot. it requires a different approach and there are more factors at play, even if he won over the kage, their feudal lords are a different animal.

Neji had the greatest potential out of Naruto’s Generation not counting Team 7. He was gonna become the Hyuga Leader, be one of the strongest Jonin of not the strongest Jonin in Boruto, While Sasuke taught Boruto Ninjutsu skills, Neji would’ve been his Taijutsu master and help Boruto with his Jougan. He would’ve married TenTen and had about 2-3 kids and still would’ve been Rock Lee’s rival. I can also see Neji being out of the village a lot like Sasuke. I’d also think Neji would’ve been a very powerful Kage Level Jonin probably Mid to High Kage level at best don’t see him becoming God Tier but possibly Legend Tier tho

You do realize that being a Hokage is similar to being a democratic leader for the Shinobi. To be Hokage honestly you need 2 things. Acknowledgement of the village, and capabilities as a Shinobi. They have advisors and have meetings with the other Kage. So changing this system does need to happen. But getting rid of them entirely is a bad idea. Here on planet earth. I’ve been saying this for the longest they need before part 1 ends dive more into the plot of how all the kages feel about boruto and in my opinion it should be some type invasion arc to cap off part 1 and the whole situation can pop off because the threat of borutoshiki and naruto be unwilling to kill his own son forcing the kages hands to back door naruto in hopes of assassinating boruto they align themselves with kara. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.

Boruto is going to be like eren yeager. If you remember momoshiki has the ability to see others fate. So once momoshikis abilities become Borutos he will be able to see the fate of himself or maybe others. The jougan also has a similar feature to be able to see the future. When urashiki was transporting through dimensions. Boruto was able to predict where urashiki would appear before he striked. when Borushiki finished momoshiki with a rasengan there was a split second where Boruto countered momoshikis attack and they made sure to show the jougan during the scene.

Why do they even have "lords" like why these powerless leaders over the STRONGEST ninja in their respective Nations. But with that ninja tech will very much even that out that playing field giving those feudal lords some teeth to their bite. I think the feudal lords have too much "audacity" to force demi god kages into their petty shenanigans. But if they remove the feudal lords then the system is left with kages, which are basically "war generals". I see it as retelling of japans political/nation building history with Kishi criticism on the state of world affairs pretty subtle. I mean the symbolisms really mirroring our world. Where I’m from we have people who are I would say like Feudal lords, for every island there is a “Feudal Lord” what we call them is iroj which translates to Lord. Me being a regular person seeing every day poverty for my people back at the island is really bugging me. This is only cause people “In Charge” are not really in charge. They have to seek approval for any type of movement they want to start, once approved it will be funded and supported. Soon if not already, the five great nations will be ruled by tech giants. Kara and Victor's side project were a great example of that. Kawaki is chasing this trend of polarization between mind and matter whilst Boruto is holding on to the dualistic past and trying to maintain the bridge between the two and was the foundational philosophy, Ninshu. How did the feudal lord system come to be? It's never explained how we went from Waring States Era, small tribes fighting amongst eachother, to the current system. How/when did the lords gain power?

Go back to when the village was founded, the feudal lord was the one pushing for the hokage position to be created, for there to be a representative from the village. Ninja villages need someone to bankroll them, always have since they were created. That's the feudal lord

If the fudel lord system and Kage system need to change yes there are godd side of the system but the system is not working this system is sacrifasing so much lives for profit.
