Reality check: Income is not as easy as doing maths. Hard to get part time jobs, even if you get, either less or more than 20, even if you get jobs, not easy for every one to get good job contracts, that you can submit for visa application. It is really hard to get jobs, otherwise 2 of my friends should have got some jobs until now. Take it from a student, who knows many people in person and is and has yet some umemployed friends. Reality is not as it seems. Before arriving here, I even used to do calculations like this, but i got only 10 hrs per week job. So only come here if you can hold the living cost for 1 year with out returning back to Nepal. The situation has changed a lot.

Sorry to hear that you and your friends have not been able to find a job. Its not super easy to get a job and Its not like you know some people and you get the job. Knowing person alone is not enough to get the job. It depends on how you approach people, how social you are and how much you are connected with Nepalese community. After living in Oslo for 4 years, I would say almost 90% of students in OSLO will get a job in 3-6 months if you are well connected with Nepalese community and actively looking for a job. I do not recommend anyone to come to Norway if it is not Bergen and Oslo. Hope you and your friend will get a 20hrs job soon. Good Luck
