I think the same thing that happened with Royce da 5'9 also happened to AZ. Both of them frequently collabed with 2 of the biggest emcees of their time Eminem and Nas and even released group projects with them. I personally thought AZ and Royce held their own on tracks and projects that they had with Esco and Slim Shady.
