I think the same thing that happened with Royce da 5'9 also happened to AZ. Both of them frequently collabed with 2 of the biggest emcees of their time Eminem and Nas and even released group projects with them. I personally thought AZ and Royce held their own on tracks and projects that they had with Esco and Slim Shady. But when you tag team with Batman, you are often gonna be perceived as Robin by an ignorant audience.

I tell everyone I know once the decision to cut Cormega out of the group was made that was the beginning of the end for The Firm. Just listen to his verse on this.
