I'm 25 and grew up on Nas. In my friend group, I'm the only one that listens to Nas and consider him the GOAT. My friends would slander Nas and say he's boring but with Hit-Boy, album by album, they're becoming Nas fans. Today I received a text from a friend that used to not listen to Nas and it was a link to Office Hours and he says he'll check the album out ASAP because of how hard Nas went. This is exactly why I love Nas with Hit-Boy because it's introducing him to listeners that wouldn't give him a chance and they're finally seeing just how great he is. Look at how the narratives have changed, I remember seeing Nas hate all over Twitter and now most of the people that used to hate understand why we consider him the GOAT. He's ending all the debates and newer generations are starting to see it. Another great album and I love how it sounds completely different to anything Nas has done before. Give Hit-Boy his flowers too because he's challenging Nas and himself to reach levels and go places they haven't been before.
