Legend Arti I mean I still have classics always in rotation that’ll never change, but I’ve also got an ear out for more modern rap that stands out and makes waves. Currently I think Denzel Curry is one of the hardest out right now and at times is a really solid lyricist. Also J.I.D is can go at Eminem levels of fast spitting lines with a lot of charisma kinda like Wayne’s older stuff, again another great lyricist. Just some recommendations of more contemporary rappers that I think stand out among the crowd and do their own thing.

Pac & Nas are both Poets, which means they reign supreme over many other Rappers. There's a difference! Pac & Nas are True Writers (Poets); meaning, they can Poet about anything. However, a rapper can only rap about money, hoes, and clothes and their topics are extremely limited. Biggie was talented, but he was NOT a Poet, he was a Rapper. Nas & Pac are may favorite poets, but Pac in my opinion was a better Poet because of his status and the many many songs he made covering a wider range of topics. salute to all. Son of Kush

I saw all these White people sleeping on City busses when I stepped On, meaning they will feel A hard time and have no where to go , all will. Suffer who Jesus leaves here. Iran ain't scared they have Weapons , I saw it in a dream And no one will rap ever again. They won't want too.. China will take the stage, And Russia will ride with them. Where they fail is when they try to beat Israel out, it can't be Done! That is God's throne room. I dunno why some people find it so hard to believe that Nas squashed it with Pac. Like why not? It's not like 2pac and Nas had a REAL STREET beef or anything to that degree. Of course, he's willing to let it go. The beef was only stirred up through word of mouth, rumors, and hearsay. Nas "hardly" goes after rappers first. A line like "fake thug, no love, you get the slugs" from Nas's The Message doesn't even sound like he was talking about 2pac. Why, because the word, thug?? Remember, 2pac did popularize the use of the term, thug, back in the days so artists were bound to use it in their lyrics. It was all just a confusion. Remember too, 2pac had a lot of beef at the time, so paranoia was the cause. Also, he was maturing more in his last days, beginning to break away from grimy ass Death Row and what not.
@kazerous_world3209 жыл бұрын
nas lied and there is plenty of proof to say. so you're research on both side of stories and outsiders looking in and know nas is a liar and very good at pretending. to say nas is better than 2Pac. makes me think rap been dead since Pac left to Cuba. r.I.p. hip hop 1996 is the year
@Curtoonstv9 жыл бұрын
+Kazerous_World lol okay bro. This is my opinion, you have yours. Don't assume I've got my info "ALL" from outsiders. And in fact, if I agree with you, aren't you an outsider as well?? Who knows Nas personally in the comment section to call him a liar? 2pac is a legend no doubt but damn nigga, he's not rap music. He's just a man. Chill out. And I never said Nas was better than Pac or vice versa so I have no idea why you brought that up. But even if I did, why in the hell do you need my opinion to validate and confirm who you think is the best? Sounds like you're Pac dickriding toooo damn much on some Stan shit.

Nas could’ve had Tupac killed anytime he was on the East Coast in the early 90’s. He easily had a hundred loyal gunnas around him at all times. He didn’t need to make beef, where there wasn’t any. And that’s something the West Coast didn’t understand till a couple years later. Nas is a living legend from an era of rap that all of us, all ages, can appreciate. Respect
