It's not talked about enough how KD2, Magic and KD3 dropped in a 15 month window. There are arguably better three album runs (Em, OutKast and Kendrick come to mind), but all those runs came over the course of 5 or 6 years. NO-ONE has ever given their fans this much quality in such a short period of time. And for what? He's fucking 50, has nothing to prove, and already worth 9 figures from his tech investments.
