This session will summarize where different spaceborne LIDAR measurements can be accessed. This will be followed by a demo showing participants how to open, interpret, and analyze LIDAR data for assessments of vegetation structure. The session will end with a question and answer period.

As long as were not dedicated to change the scale of our financial activities and geometrical dimensions of engineering work, as that long we will not be able to gain truly magnicifent achievements, not only for our future world order but also for the future of our children and will be forced to stay on our theoretical knowledge and experience, wich we gained in the last few hundred years, thanks to the pioneers on these scientific fields, it is time to turn the table and bring new practical pioneers in the organizations scale of activity like Nasa, who actually is underestimated in his activities, to conquer new achievements, like Alexander the great did at his time with the possibilities he had !
