If NASA is committed to safety, they should have not sent the crew in the first place

You misinterpret it. It is for their own safety, not the crew. The politicians are afraid they say what f up the US is.

If it is going to be a safe Return why no Crew is onboard unless the Astronauts are too happy to stay away from Home and having an Extend Holiday as LONG as POSSIBLE.

@@vincentlee7937 That’s a very different problem. Hardened chips are tested to withstand high levels of transient cosmic radiation.

"That’s a very different problem." well, no shit. really ? I'm not the one that started talking about hardness of what do I even care. I'm talking about the voltage and overclocking of the chips, so obviously the silicon degradation; if you know any other type of material CPU are made of that could withstand Intel's clocking and voltage then you better start your own company soon and collect your nobel prize in material engineering

It is basically the same problem of compatibility standards. Has the US sorted out metric vs US imperial measures? I guess not. They couldn't agree on a standard for mobile 5G which China took the lead. NASA brought together commercial providers for the ISS, and now they have compatibility problems with bringing back the astronauts. 🤷 This reminds me of an American who went round the world going on TV in UK to get the people to walk on the left side of each pedestrian, based on his simple statistic that humans react more naturally to walk on that side. But Britain & Hong Kong both drive on the left side of the road, hence his suggestion is contrary to safety. But he got his way! 🤷😲Back in 2019, I watched a clip about a Hong Kong school teaching their pupils to walk on the left side. 🤷🤯
