Sabine is very correct. A conjecture of a multiverse isn't proof. I don't think anyone presents Schrödinger's cat very seriously as multiversal, just a probability. Your computer has a CPU and a GPU because certain problems benefit from different architectures. You're not going to run Crysis on a Quantum computer...

Many Worlds Hypothesis can be interpreted as higher dimensional states that come in and out of our lower dimensional space. Not necessarily like taping into another universe with their own Big Bang and planets and stars and so on.

Maybe with the new chip we will be able to understand the difference between the word "classic", which refers to the way computers would have been working all this time, and the word "classical" which refers to the aesthetics of the Greek and Roman civilizations. I guess a "classical computer" would be one that follows the way the Greek and Roman empire computed things, right? Come on guys, NASA should know better than confusing the two terms.
