That’s precisely why I voted for him. Unfortunately, Trump has always been an easy money guy. Today he tweeted about eliminating the debt ceiling entirely! Luckily there are still some congress people concerned about excessive spending and they rejected his recommendation. On the other hand, he’s proven to be a really savvy international politician who despises war and is very effective in that regard.

Investing after a rate cut can be good because it usually boosts economic growth, leading to higher corporate profits and stock prices. Plus, lower rates can make stocks more appealing compared to fixed-income investments. Analysts are wrong and I truly hope other investors realizes this..

The truth is, the role of an investment advisor can often be overlooked but should never be underestimated. After facing a significant portfolio loss in 2020 during the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I decided to reach out to an investment advisor. At that time, I had about $126K left in my portfolio. Now, without having to lift a finger, I'm semi-retired, working only 7.5 hours a week, and I'm just 15% short of my $1 million retirement goal thanks to my subsequent investments.

Jerome Powell is not an economist. Why and who appointed him to the Fed which is not a government institution but more of a private bank for private bankers established by JP Morgan during a banking crisis. See the documentary called Jekyll Island. Lyndon LaRouche started the End the Fed campaign which resurfaced during the 2008 Occupy movement. The banks got bailed out, we got sold out.

But the Feds actions have no doubt had an entire influence on the whole thing. Almost everything is down. That is a reflection of the feds choice. They are usually late to react to everything. The market or reacting to Trumps election. This is a positive thing whether the market is over hyped or not. We’ve spent the last few years struggling due to government decisions. Now government decisions at least under Trump are benefitting everyone. How is that a bad thing?

Now even those Guys appear to be Banking more in China every day. The Support for the Federal Reserve Bank's Notes, looks like it has dried up? The measure of success looks like Wiemar Deutschmarks. The system is failing as a result of both government and federal policy. In the next days, the banking crisis would have to be epic and gigantic for the FED to decide not to raise interest rates. This won't happen; an increase and a crash are coming. There will be more negative portfolios this 2nd half of 2024 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

Respectfully disagree. I have been job hunting and the job market is absolutely early-recession. I think there is a small inflation spike, and then in 6 months the Fed/government can no longer hide the fact that we're in the beginning of a recession, that most of the job openings are fake, that most of the jobs created are part time food service, etc.. Then there is a fight between Trump and Fed where Trump wants zero rates now and Powell says no, and "growth" meme stocks go up +5% down -4% repeatedly. Then eventually Powell caves as it comes out that the ridiculous GDP and earnings growth estimates are wrong.

The most popular investment portfolio strategies include diversification, where you spread investments across different asset classes to manage risk. Another is the growth strategy, focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks or bonds. Finally, there's the value strategy, seeking undervalued assets for potential long-term gains.

Imagine if Powell was propping up bitcoin instead of the stock market. Printing money, devaluing peoples savings to make bitcoiners richer. People would lose their minds. But because hes doing it for the stock market, basically taking poor peoples money and giving them to rich stock holders, its somehow okay.

Am l dreaming ? We are not in recession as unemployment rises, bankruptcies surge per week, delinquencies in car loans and credit cards rise and global trade is now reduced drastically as a result of sanctions and tariffs !! What has not yet been revealed is that the"corporate earnings growth engine " is now broken !! Sorry, but these are economic conditions leaning towards a major collapse that will probably be global pushing the world into a serious Depression!! 😢

Powell was perfect yesterday. The huge problem is still asset bubbles. Lowering rates won't help with unemployment since so many companies are fine with skeleton crews and just not hiring; but lowering rates would absolutely fuel asset bubbles.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
