Hailie Deegan made a good point on a video last week, some of these guys need to calm down and learn how to drive. Stop trying to force your truck into a gap that is not there. Stop fighting to move up one spot and wrecking 5 trucks in the 20th lap of the race. Some of these guys look like they have no business on a race track.
@PROFESSOR-I.C.3 жыл бұрын
John Harris, I agree with you. I've noticed when Hailie gets in a wreck, it's generally because the drivers in front of her are wrecking or somebody hits her from behind, wrecking her. They're driving over their heads.

@@3338MAN uh no. She was in the best equipment in Arca and K&N and what did she do. Won one race by dumping her teammate and another because lap cars were blocking the leader. Then went winless in Arca. Then only got 1 top 10 in good equipment this year. Plus got a driver mad at her after Richmond and he ended up winning in way worse equipment

Let me me something clear: In the last three races, the wrecks involving Hailie Deegan was unintentional. Bristol - Austin Hill into the inside wall, bounces off into Deegan's driver-side door and slams into the outside wall. (Austin Hill couldn't control his truck, ergo not entirely his fault.) Las Vegas - Chase Purdy took the air off Deegan's left rear quarter-panel or makes contact to the rear bumper of the truck and caused her to slide into Ankrum's driver-side door. Talladega - Sheldon Creed and Christian Eckes go to the outside and battle away from the pack. Creed gets Eckes loose and wrecks him, causing Deegan and others to end up in the Second Big One.
@speed331693 жыл бұрын
Fogleman did an amazing job during the first big wreck, drifting around in the middle of the carnage, not hitting anyone - only to get spun by a back marker who wasn't bright enough to slow down for the crash. Of two minds about the bump & run at the end - Talladega being Talladega it's a tough call - But still a heck of a drive to the finish...
@nellz723 жыл бұрын
Should be no such thing as a "bump and run", but that's just my opinion. I respect highly skilled driving, over brute force and crashing.

Tate Fogelman clearly drives up into the side of Nemechek, who was leading the race up until that moment, and dumps him. No penalty. If Dale Earnhardt Sr. does that, he calls it 'rattling his cage' which it isn't. Tapping your front bumper into the rear bumper of the car in front of you is rattling their cage. Once you get any part of your car into the side of that car, that's generally more than ,'rattling their cage'. That's take out mode, almost always the inside car has the advantage in making the contact and using the outside car as a buffer between himself and the wall.
