1st off, i have been a long time fan of both of yall, and im glad the 2 of you are doing this podcast together.. now having said that .... NASCAR had more than enough time to approve the charter sales which I believe is why FRM & SHR is suing NASCAR. The charter system is just another way that NASCAR is monopolizing the sport. I think that those 2 teams are right is suing NASCAR, because it HAS become a monopoly.

Does anybody remember Buddy Baker up in the booth at Daytona being mad at Schrader for pulling some kind of prank on him while they were there? Schrader was in the 33 at the time. Seems like 98' or so? It had something to do with Jack Roush's hat being stolen? It would be cool if somebody could get that story out of Schrader if he remembers it.

Same reason we take our 1997 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome to our local race tracks, so we can get out of the heat and cold. Pull our 20' enclosed trailer behind it so we have all our tools with us, of course that means all the "friends" that don't bring tools or "forget" their tools come to us.

Been a Beam guy for over 40 years. Not that that is something to really brag about. I was at Schrader's win at Atlanta in '91 and was in the stands watching the other Kenny push Earnhardt for his last win at Talladega in 2000.

I am a 74 yo Canadian race fan. Taylor Swift just completed her tour in Vancouver BC after 3 nights in Toronto and 3 in BC. I'm far from a swifty but Canadians are kind of down with all that's going on in the world, but i was almost in tears seeing Canadians having such a great time, inside and outside of the venues. We really needed that. Like her or not, she's an amazing person and entertainer.

With the current playoff system they need to change the last track every year. When the winner was determined by there performance all year, the schedule didn’t need to change. Some manufacturers do better than others at certain tracks, that’s just a fact.

How can a team think when they give up their existing charters they can purchase an additional one...they cant seriously think they could. I feel sorry for Stewart-Haas. Would think they have out in contract anyway saying pending nascar approval...but who knows how much could get

I got news for you two. I've been to casinos in Wisconsin with some of the top dirt late model personalities. We were betting with $500 dollar chips. Then, back at Cedar Lake speedway. They were pitching pennys for $100 in bet. 10 guy's pitch the pennys. Closest penny won $1000. They did that for 3 hours....lol

(not sure the number) charters next year. So it is already announced they are not forever and are worth probably near nothing, unless the court decides against nascar! So either charter system goes bye bye and worthless + they piss off michael jordan or nascar looses... Sounds like a loose loose for nascar and i love it! Should have given the teams a fair deal and not force them 12h to sign or bye bye charters!

In my opinion, just an observer since the 1970’s, that would be a smart move for Nascar, but a) Dale and Kelley are smart and cautious with money, b) they’d need a sponsorship package because they won’t commit without one, and c) that would be sticky for Nascar; I don’t think either TS or GH are going to put up with that in a calm and submissive manner. In the end I’d bet Nascar is gonna get everything they have been hoping they are not going to get.

I say Dale Jr. Motorsports and Chip Ganassi should lease 2 Cup Series cars from Hendrick Motorsports and LEASE 2 Charters from SHR. That would give SHR some cash flow until they complete the Charter Sale Process with 2311 within the next 3 seasons. What a great way to see if you want to field a Cup Series entry on a permanent basis, without a full long term financial commitment! Budweiser for the sponsorship. What a great way to earn respect back from product customers after the Bud Light debacle!
