That finish was “the good ending”; • No stupid final lap crash. • No yellow to ruin it all. • A THREE WIDE PHOTO-FINISH!!! • Top Three seperated by 0.007 • Gap to P2 is the thrid closest in NASCAR history. • The winner is a driver who’s not only likeable, but badly needed to silence his doubters. We’ll never see a finish like that ever again, easily one of the best superspeedway races in the sports history.

Like Darrell Waltrip once said, "This is going to be another one of those fantastic Atlanta finishes!" and this finish is the exact literal definition of that DW call from 2005. I have not a single word for how perfect the finish to this race was. Will go down in both Atlanta and NASCAR's history as one of the greatest of all-time. Finishes like these remind us what it means to be a fan of this sport and that could not be more true. CONGRATS SUAREZ on win #2!! 🏁🏆👍👍

This is one of the best "Closest-Finishes" since going back to [2003 & 11] of Darlington-Talladega races. But this one tonight: Atlanta going back to (Last-Year's Race-Called due to the Weather-Rainy problems) for William Byron called it a 'Race-Winner' over Daniel Suarez, & this year.....it's Daniel Suarez turn by 0.003 seconds in NASCAR History! I'm happy for him (As a Latino-Community of NASCAR) Daniel Suarez gets his 2nd-Career Cup Series victory since [2022] Sonoma, & hopefully he'll keep on going [Without any mistakes from NASCAR rule-book] Enjoy the Victory-Lane Amigo

Hard to handle cars, the stage breaks largely neutralized by organic cautions, tons of passing, teams able to come back despite contact, and a crazy close finish that *didn't* end in caution/overtime/someone getting punted across the line. Pretty much what we all hope for.

Excellent race. Congratulations to Suarez. Also, big profs go out to Kyle Bush. He and Larson and others were sooo aggressive in stage one. Bush was complaining about how in Daytona everyone went into gas-saving mode and wouldn't race. He came to Atlanta living up to his mouth. Started racing hard right out of the gate. Sixteen lead changes in stage one.......!!! Stage one set the tone for a fantastic race!!!

As a newbie to this particular side of motorsport, can someone explain to me why the caution was out for so many laps - just because of Hamlin's simple spin? Especially since he then drove away. All I can think is that the marshal truck needs to go all round the track to get back to it's post.
