It's just part of NASCAR. Ever since they put restrictor plates on the cars they're forced to knock people out of the way and/or draft. And even though the crashes look terrible, the last death in NASCAR was in 2001 and the most major injuries that they suffer is a broken leg. They have obscenely high safety precautions. Edit: I should also mention that Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s death was also what brought upon so many of the safety overhauls to the sport. The big three being the HANS device, the new barrier, and the 'car of tomorrow'.

Both of those Dillon boys have multiple racing championships to their names, so it's not like they're unskilled. And, in this world, if you don't take advantage of the opportunities you have, you fail. That's just how life works. Some people are afforded better opportunities than others, but you work with that you've got and that's what they've done. I like Harvick, but he was just pissed and venting. He was afforded a massive opportunity when Earnhardt died and he took advantage of it and capitalized on it. Now, he's a Cup Series Champion.

I find this fascinating. One of the things I always wondered about, was how they hand intentional wrecking. Because it's one thing to have a tough race and crash someone by trying to win. It's another thing if you intentionally knock your opponents out of the race to win. Cars are exceptionally easy to spin off a track when they are moving that fast. If you know how to do it, you can easily pit anyone off the track with minimum damage to yourself. But.... crashing someone at 200 mph is horribly dangerous. I don't think I can watch that.

The only disappointment was that Kenseth didn't just say "Yeah, I wrecked him. He had it comin'." or something like that. I would have been fine with it if Kenseth had just been honest instead of blaming a mechanical failure in the car. And I've liked Joey Logano since he joined up with Penske.

Sterling Crockett Lugano lies about wrecking Kenneth. Him and Keselowski both have intentionally wrecked people and lied about it. Only time I know Keselowski straight said he wrecked someone is a few years ago at Watkins Glen Bobby Labonte was leaking oil while Kyle was leading with Keselowski in second. Keselowski wrecked Kyle and won as a result then in the interview after admitted to wrecking Kyle because he thought Kyle was leaking oil and then the reporter told Keselowski who was leaking oil and his response was something like “OH WELL IT WAS KYLE WHO GOT WRECKED WHO CARES”.

Jose Contreras You’re an idiot Logan’s is the reason Kennseth didn’t advance. It wasn’t a guarantee that Matt would’ve made it to the championship four but he did have a legitimate shot of making it past the first round of the chase at Kansas. Logano already had a win guaranteeing he would advance when he wrecked Kennseth Kansas there was no need to spin Matt out. If Logano has the better car he could’ve passed Kennseth cleanly but he didn’t instead he spun him. Logano was the coward and if you think Kennseth was and for spinning Logano then it shows you don’t follow nascar very well.
