I love listening to Dale do the play-by-play for races. I wish he would do it more often. Just listening to him gets me excited about watching races again. Reminds me of a Hockey radio announcer. He's on top of everything and has whoever is listening on edge even in the middle of a race. Love it.

The road course races are consistently more exciting. There is a lot more action all through the field and on virtually every corner. I would like to see many more throughout the season. Congrats to the #9.

Can I just ask: what exactly makes NASCAR Watkins Glen a road course? It's only got 7 turns, compared to the 11 that they could be doing.
@lawrencewestby92295 жыл бұрын
The short course is already 2.4 miles long, the long course is 3.4 miles. If I had to guess, it's probably an issue of fuel and tire usage. Also, the long course adds some tighter turns which the cup cars may have more difficulty with as compared to open wheel or sports cars. Just my thoughts, though.

Haven't watched NASCAR for years. What's with the stages?
@Si1verRaven5 жыл бұрын
The stages are to artificially make close racing by bringing out the caution oh I meant "stages"
@MattGoelz5 жыл бұрын
@@Si1verRaven They were made an an incentive to race hard through the whole race as at the end of each stage, championship points are awarded to the top 10. But NASCAR being the way they are decided they needed to throw a caution to find out who the top ten was so they can see them nice an slow. No-one would complain about stages if it wasn't an automatic caution. Automatic/Stage cautions ruin road course racing

why are people taking bubbas side. If you watch clear as day u can see bubba initiates the contact..? And with the Byron incident Kyle clearly had the inside of Byron he got ran out of room cause Byron didn’t leave any space.
@cjcentral63155 жыл бұрын
Perhaps the bubba Wallace incident that happened it only shows the end of the exit so hard too see but the Byron incident even if it is lap 2 u should still have a awareness that someone is right next to you, that’s what a spotter is for right? and why?, Well I mean it’s a race he saw a opening and went for it. Plain and simple
