You know what’s sad is I love racing. I took my wife and kid to Dover for their first time. It’s sad to see the stands that empty. NASCAR if you are listening or reading this. Wake up ,save the sport. Bring the prices of tickets down again. Put all the races back on regular T.V. The reason you had so many followers was some people out here don’t have cable ! I’m one of them. Guaranteed thats half of your ratings. Remembering when me and dad would carry the tv out front and watch the race on the picnic table and drinking on Sunday.

xxraydogxx Probably the most ridiculous thing to suggest that the reason ratings are down is because it’s on a network that you don’t have. Because when NASCAR was super popular in the late 90s/early 2000s, it was ALWAYS on national TV right? TNN, TNT, ESPN 2, and TBS would like to have a word with you. More like they decreased because of the dumb rule changes and gimmicks that turned off the real racing fans. Plus ticket prices were always high, so get out of here with that nonsense. You’re just as out of touch as the NASCAR execs lol.

In my opinion, racing should be a gentleman's sport. Fighting like that at the end of the race should be heavily penalized. You should start enforcing heavy rules on people who misbehave. I know it is fun to watch, but kids are watching too and fighting at the end like that is completely unnecessary. No wonder the stands are empty.
