Loved the driver intros & associated graphics, plus the slightly slowed down playback as the racers approached the line for their rolling start and then *zoom* accelerating right off to racing speed, quite convincing camera play here!! Thank you, sir!!! A lot of thought and efforts behind the scenes went into the “illusion” of this track. From the rolling start to the “going around and around”. Lots of things that could have went wrong in the build process but overall I’m very happy. Since recording this video I have don’t a few modifications to the turns and the track runs even SMOOTHER now. Can’t wait to share the NEXT Video

Very clever track build (two stacked loops). However, I feel the same about this as I do about actual NASCAR ... I like right turns too. -- I know this was a lot of work but it's not going to be my cup of tea. -- I'll be back for the next track.

Well I’m gonna be honest I have mixed feelings about this new track. First off I LOVE the concept. I really do. I have a Street Stock Series that I’ve grown over the years that I wanted this exact track for. But I then after watching a second and third time I don’t think it would work. I need to see some more racing to give me true opinion but first glance I love it. Perfect concept. I will have some questions for you but I’m afraid I know the answer already. Is there a reason why you start them single file? But truly I love how you choreograph the video and you make it look continuous. Great job.

First of all, the track is continuous. No video editing trickery or anything there. It’s non stop. As for the single file start, the first turn wasn’t performing up to my standards the way we had it. The outside cars were hitting the in ramp and rocketing inward to “squish” the inside cars. It resulted in the outside front car breaking loose and getting WAY ahead of the pack. Then i was just filming a single car and the racing wasn’t exciting. Single file yielded better racing so we went this route. That being said, I 100% wanted to come up with a solution to run cars in a grid. 4,6,8, and even 10 cars for some events. Soo I scratched my head for awhile and talked with Russ at spoolheads… we ended up designing the first in ramp with a median (that continues from the dual lane start area). Having the median in the ramp allows the cars to stay apart longer and gets them up into the banked turn so when they go to open track, there’s far less chaos. We also noticed some performance issues with the longer in ramps on the rest of the track. The cars were hitting the inside wall before entering the turn. Those have been swapped out with shorter ramps and vehicles are running MUCH better. You should see a big change going into the next video. However, because I ran the first group single file, the rest of the trucks will run that format as well. 💪🏼💪🏼. If you have any questions, comments, concerns… I’m an open book.
