No Joke (storytime): Between 2003 and 2007, I would spend days at either Daytona or Talladega, trying to create the most realistic, biggest wrecks possible with this game. I always admire my "creations" for hours, and always desired to record my wrecks. Unfortunately at the time, I never had the equipment to record the footage. I would always exit the race, and the crash is gone forever. I'm glad someone has made a crash comp video of this game, and I wish and hope to try something like this in the future. Also, Hardcore Physics mode is absolutely incredible for wrecks. Trust me.

I don’t understand why they can’t replicate this kind of damage model in the newer Heat games. It was way more realistic because you could kill your car with one serious impact. Heat 3 you need to actually want to total your car to get the result. You could do it on accident in D2D.

If you turn fast enough your car will go into the sky and a bit later hit the ground Also your car needs to aero of a brick and to be fast enough to reach 200+mph
