I remember doing career mode and lost the draft at Daytona I couldn't catch up and some how I spun out lol they threw a caution but then the same race I caught the apron spun out took out 4 or 5 cars no caution lol

Millad you are going to want to have the disable rivals setting to on (disabling rivals) because the game just isn’t enjoyable when you have rivals. Like if you have a rival with a certain driver, they will give you no room whatsoever on the racetrack and will attempt to wreck you every chance they get (they also don’t care if it ruins their race or not).

Idk if it's that way in vanilla, but I've never had them try to outright take me out even at the cost of their own race, with the 2023 mod / 2022 DLC. The worst they do is shove you you out of line, refuse to work with you as draft partners, punt you lightly just enough to give you minor damage etc.

@@Pankypops oh, then that must have been updated for the mod because when I was doing a career mode in the vanilla game the AI were going berserk and wrecking me every chance they got (if they were my rival).

Tbh heat 4&5 never been that bad. There what you’d want in a game just bare minimum but the racings decent. Highly enjoy the unbeatable mode or whatever the top one is, most all of the cookie cutters you can have really competitive intense racing and solid fall off on 3x wear on 50% length, I just wish I could do custom lengths and do 65% cup races 75% truck and xfinity.

More Grip setting is fine, sure it seems that you're faster when competing against the rear half of the field, but that's the only way you'll be able to keep up with the leaders, and even then you need the help of the draft or good lap times. I'd say 4x wear for both you and the AI makes for a balanced experience at 25% race length. You know, because 100 / 4 = 25? Custom setups are also a necessity when dealing with a 4-star ride, especially on tracks where you don't have much straightline speed.

I have this mod installed and tried to get a modded career to work, but for some stupid reason, when I do the exact thing you did and select SVG, I am forced to drive the red 99 car that would have previously been the custom car. I have no clue why this happens on my computer (considering the mod works fine everywhere else), but it's really annoying considering I also made a custom 91 paint scheme to use for the career mode. I wonder if anyone else has this issue.

I've noticed a bug that, if you selected SVG, the game forces you to play as the custom car. Picking any other driver should fix this issue, even another Trackhouse car. As for why Radman got SVG to work (with a custom scheme), I'm guessing some of the other files in the mod were altered and another car was made to not show up.
