Kinda feel bad for Ganassi during the whole debacle. He waited until the sponsors made their statements before doing anything, because I guarantee he didn't want to kick Larson to the curb. And after they said "no," he was left with no choice. And considering the DC Solar thing, he likely didn't want to lose more sponsors for bizarre circumstances.
@SomeoneOnTheInternet855Ай бұрын
ganassi had talent, but the sponsors are corporate, and had other views. unsponsored cars, as well, aren’t great to a team. ganassi was put into a corner by the sponsors, basically release him or lose everything

It would certainly be weird seeing larson in the ally 48, but it honestly helped bowman out more. He didnt really have a sponsor in 88, he really just shared the axalta with the 24. I doubt hendrick cars would sponsor bowman for most of the season.

When I first heard the name Kyle Larson, he won at Michigan in his Lightning McQueen livery in 2017, and I became a fan of his. It hurt to see him get indefinitely suspended during COVID, soon being amped up immensely due to the noose fiasco at Talladega with Bubba. But when he was announced to take over Jimmie Johnson's ride with a rebranded #5 car, I thought he would perform just about as good as Chase Elliott. But my goodness, did he become my new favorite driver to root for on Sundays throughout the 2021 season and beyond! I look forward to seeing what he can do in 2025 (maybe get championship number 2!) and forward. Kyle Larson is NASCAR's newest and greatest superstar (probably along the same lines as Tony Stewart and Dale Jr), and the sanctioning body really needs to capitalize on that.
@sleezyfn5079Ай бұрын
genuinely I’d heard about him in a Target 42 car at Dega I think, around 2014 or 15. Remember him wrecking there racing for Ganassi, and remember thinking to myself. “This kid’s gonna be a nascar bust.” Could never have been more wrong, honestly out pf the 4 current hendrick racers I respect him the most. Jimmie fan also, now Buescher.

Kyle Larson is my favorite driver. He will more then likely win 4 championships and 50 more races. His battles with Gordon 'n Busch at Chicagoland in 2014 and 2018 were incredible. He should've not won Richmond in 2017 and Indianapolis in 2024. Larson could've had 15 in 2021. Atlanta,Kansas,COTA,Pocono,Darlington went to guys like Kyle Busch,Denny Hamlin,Chase Elliott,and Alex Bowman. Kyle Larson is a superstar alongside Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr as well as Scott Dixon,Lewis Hamilton,and Ayton Senna. Gordon and Senna should've had 7 championships in both NASCAR and F1.

I think Kyle Larson is the biggest redemption story I think in all of sports right now, My dad I know wasn't big on him when he drove a Target Car and I and him didn't really love Target, But when Kyle Larson made a terrible mistake on an Easter Sunday and when basically there no racing live because of well we know, And I think kicking him out of the sport was major at the time, but something even as a racing fan didn't really agree even when he did say a Racial slur, But once he came back he was back and even better and his 2021 season is one of the best comeback stories not just NASCAR wise, but also all of sports in general, and no question I think he is the best driver in the sport right now, and he has been on the few that has grown it, I mean since 2021 nobody has won more than him. I of course I know that since 2020 I have not been 100% in NASCAR's corner, especially when you hear diversity and inclusion you pretty much hear all the time. Gets annoying don't you think But I did believe he deserved to get a 2nd chance! Because I didn't want to see someone's career ruined all over a bad word. But as someone who enjoys seeing that 5 car do well its so great. anyhow John I gotta agree on this one this is yes the best redemption story we've seen in NASCAR and all of motorsports ever.

As insane as his stats were in 2021 it did not surprise me. I knew Kyle was good when he was with Ganassi and I felt like he had something to prove when he was reinstated by NASCAR. It sill amazes me that Valvoline is the only company that has stepped up to sponsor his car and Hendrick is shouldering that burden. As for him ending up at Hendrick...there was one owner that wanted him as much or more than Hendrick, Tony Stewart. However, from what I have heard, Ford told Tony no.

I figure whoever made this video is a Larson fan. Both Busch brothers have a better redemption story. Dale Jr after DEI is a better redemption story. DEI in 2001 is a better redemption story. A great driver getting into the best car on the best team and doing a great job is not a redemption story. This is NASCAR we're talking about. Most of these fans can and will forgive the N-word. What we saw was business. Hendrick had the money to fund a car on his lonesome so he made it happen. People are acting like Hendrick Cars is some ma and pop shop selling used cars off their front yard...

Alright, this page has lost all credibility by the end of the video lol. The comparisons are such a stretch.
