I loved FOX when it was Mike Joy, Jeff Gordon, and Clint Bowyer.

I cant stand NBC'S NASCAR coverage, because of the Aussie accent of Leigh Diffey on OUR sport, and the nasally, high pitched, Southern boy voices of Jeff Burton (especially) and Dale Jarrett. But I love Dale Jr and Kyle Petty.

I REALLY hate the Charlotte "Roval", and other contrived "road" races inside superspeedways.

I like Phoenix and Sonoma. I hate Pocono, Richmond, Dover, and Kansas. I used to like Atlanta, until they repaved it.

Waltrip really screwed up leaving Hendrick to form his own team. Bonehead move, driven by ego. He failed miserably. But imagine this: DW stays at Hendrick. Tim Richmond doesn't get AIDS and die. And we would only know Jeff Gordon from Sprint cars and Indy cars. But DW would have 100 wins and 4 or 5 Championships.

You didnt mention Derrike Cope, Morgan Shepherd, Herschel McGriff, Kenny Wallace, or Ken Shrader. Wallace and Shrader arent in NASCAR anymore, but theyre still racing, deep into their 60's.

Jeff NEVER had an easy time of winning... unless it was a rain gift, or something... The thing that nobody understands about Jeff Gordon as compared to everyone else is how he won those races.... He had people literally fighting against him, and taking him out of contention purposely which greatly affected his overall championships. He won the most races five years in a row, which should've meant that he had five championships right there... But NASCAR likes to award losers the championship if they come in second enough... It's not about winning to anyone but Jeff Gordon. It was the way he won those races... That yellow line at the superspeedways is what I call the Jeff Gordon line... Only he had the balls to get down on the apron to better his position and win a race. But so many times, like that Talladega race where Mark Martin came off of his back bumper on purpose just so those other two assholes could win... Shit like that. Had they played fairly with him, he would have won in every category. I compare every other driver who challenged his greatness to a type of Tom Brady... How many times did you ever see Tom Brady literally get the shit knocked out of him? How about never... Like Dale Jarrett, and so many other horsepower heroes... They floated to the wins they got. Every Jeff Gordon win is well worth watching... I can't think of a single Tom Brady win that's worth watching... Not like Joe Namath, Montana, nor any of the other greats who literally get pounded on a regular basis... The exact opposite was true for Brady... Just watch any of those games or any of those races to understand how it was. I also think he got messed up with Britney Spears, or something... And that took part of his edge away. But who could blame him for that, at the time??

I mean no one goes to a truck race and no one watches a truck race so its only a matter of time until the series folds.
