Then he just kept winning everything he jumped in. As a TH fan I am super stoked he is part of the TH group of drivers. Even more stoked he is driving for JRM in the 88. To win your debut in the 88 in xfinity is wild. This kid will learn fast, and has a HUGE runway to do so. Respect to Kevin Harvick for finding this kid and talking his dad into racing in NASCAR.

The reason why I like Zillisch so much is not just because he’s talented, but because I think he create a new era of drivers. He didn’t come from oval racing background, he raced Karts and Miatas. Racing disciples where contact is prohibited (as in blatantly moving drivers). And with drivers losing their mind in overtime, not to mention the finish to Richmond, we need more drivers with standards. Not saying there can’t be bump and runs, but there has to be a line. And hopefully we can see more drivers take the path he’s taken.

I’m just gonna say, Trackhouse and JRM have quite the driver with em. I think something people don’t even know, when Zilisch won the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona, he had no prior experience in an LMP2 car, much less any form of prototype. And he just gets in and managed to help get Era Motorsports the W at Daytona, and then goes back to back at Sebring. Could’ve gone 3 for 3 at Watkins Glen for the 6 hours but gearbox issues early in the race ended that. He definitely made it up dominating in ARCA and have a phenomenal run in Xfinity with 2 wins back to back. Not to mention too, he’s got a chance to win the last 2 endurance races in IMSA with this weekend at Indy for the 6 hour Battle on the Bricks and next month at the 10 hour Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta for the IMSA finale. along with possibly winning the ARCA East championship. I’m pretty certain after Connor’s win last weekend every motorsports fan around the world said “We will watch your career with great interest.”

Imo Connor Zilisch may be a one and done in xfinity he’s won ovals in arca and late models so I see him making a deep run next year and I see him replacing Suarez in 26

@flagg6211 I’m hoping TrackHouse eventually gets a third charter. Daniel being on the hot seat does come with the money which helps drivers keep their ride. Plus Daniel is good for the sport hard to root against him.
