When I originally made this video, I did a piss-poor job of research. He was originally banned for the rest of the season. NASCAR reevaluated the situation, said the ban was too extreme, and AJ was allowed to run 2 more races that season.

I can agree with him, that 2002 Rockingham race in the fall was frustrating for him, he had to make a bunch of short pitstops, just not a good race for him.
