World’s fastest half mile asphalt track is located in Winchester Indiana, nothing against Bristol. Winchester speedway has a 37 degree bank at and exact .500 mile about 140 mph too speed. Just doesn’t get much attention given it’s in the middle of nowhere

They were talking about speed differential vs Thompson. If you want to see a crazy speed differential, at Thompson the Modified track record is 18.50…. The ISMA supermodufeds turn Thompson in 16.05-16.1 seconds. Which equates to a 20 mph avg speed difference (125 mph vs over 148mph). It’s unreal the difference between the two cars on that track.
