Yes great race , only ad part was the outcome . Sorry but why is A. J. Allmendinger out there racing . Cup drivers are not allowed to compete during the chase which should include non Xfinity regulars ! Nothing against A.J. but a non regular could change the outcome of drivers who have fought for their position all season !

I went to the race today and let me tell you something, that was BY FAR the best crowd i have seen at the track for the XFinity race, I have been almost everyone the past handful of years. Great turnout, I was shocked.

I didn't fully understand the rule on penalty. I saw someone didn't Fully stop when serving Penalty, so you didn't really need to fully stop ? just slow enough or something?

The stop zone is by far one of the dumbest rules Nascar has ever thought of, if someone locks up and misses the corner and loses positions, they've already payed for the mistake and didn't gain an advantage. To then force someone to fully stop is ridiculous, how is a 10 sec +20 place penalty warranted for maybe a .5 sec gain? Thats like executing someone for jay-walking. Why can't Nascar just be normal and have an alternate missed corner route that you have to go though? If the driver gained a place, just have them give it back or give them a time penalty later. Forcing someone to stop like that on track is probably more dangerous as well because it puts a stopped car in the firing line of a high speed braking zone. It's almost like Nascar always just has to be different when it comes to anything and it really hurts its creditably and watchablity. They can't have a normal points system, they have to have "Overtime", somehow it seems cheating is rampant and is a problem they can't get a handle on even with their "State of the Art Tech Inspection Station", rules are inconsistent, and fans are leaving. It's crazy how much things can change in 10 years and I hate to see it, but all good things come to an end and I guess here we are. I won't be shocked if Nascar dissolves sometime in the next 4 years.

Yeah it similar rule to the f1 rule if you miss a corner they set up a pass through zone, I think it helps level the aggression a bit with a clear penalty for all who make the same mistake

What? Racing on a roadcourse? Because the Oval has sucked for the past 6 years, you get more racing and action here. Plus I've attended xfinity races at Charlotte over the last 5 years, this race has brought way more people to the track, Saturday was packed in the stands down towards turn 1.

Job Salazar Goodyear provide wet weather tyres for all road course events, and have done since 2016 when wet races on road courses were made allowed.
