Kevin Harvick makes such a good point about having track position and controlling the race. However with the length and longevity of this race, cautions etc. Anything can happen. That’s what makes the 500 so exciting

Yeah the stupid Hendrick cars wreck everybody else and then finish 1-2. Chastain was the only good driver on the track at the end there, everyone else botched it or got wrecked and Byron got lucky with the win.

The greatest season of nascar started with a bang Edit: This is not the greatest season with the coke 600 rain shortened to the Charlotte Roval being reconfigured. Hopefully Charlotte oval returns in 2025, maybe 2025 will be the greatest season of nascar. Edit 2: the 2025 schedule isn’t terrible I am glad Rockingham is returning in Trucks and Xfinity it should be returning in the Cup also. Instead of getting rid of the Roval now NASCAR is adding the Trucks to the Roval I think they should go back the Oval for the Playoff race I still think 2025 could be the best season ever.

Loved it - couple thoughts: More engine noise - and cut to match the visuals (A telephoto tracking video shot with audio of cars passing a mic in a different track location is jarring) Some crowd noise would be great too More on car shots - love the immersive shots from inside the action (camera shots mounted on pit crew would be fun) The track location car tracking graphics didn't make it to the youtube videos - but would have been helpful 1080p resolution would be nice too

Damn man. On one hand? Yes, I appreciate NASCAR actually putting out the full races. Like cool. On the other? Like damn man, can we at least get 1080P 60 FPS? Ya know, 2015 standards? It’s 2024 and we’re still getting 720P, and what, 24, 30 FPS? I’d personally say 1440P 60 FPS, but for now, I’d settle for 1080P, at 60 FPS.
