Coming from someone who lives in Southern Arizona, there's no such thing as "fresh" dirt. It's all dried out. Even if it rains...the dirt just doesn't soak up any water. The dirt here kinda sucks.

This race was incredible, a 9/10. It was exciting to watch, the racing was awesome and some drivers got best finishes of the season. So excited that it’s gonna be back on the schedule next year.

We'll deserved wreck finish after creating the unnecessary early wreck at Daytona that took out so many drivers, and he still finished the 500 and until last few laps had a shot at winning.

Bodies are for show on dirt tracks. They should have allowed real dirt cars with wedges for bodies on the track and they would stick a lot better without the constant spins. There is a reason why cars that race on dirt at high speeds don't run stock-looking bodies.

Let me clear something up Kyle Larson has a right to be frustrated cuz he had the best car no one else drove from the back to basically the front to get caught up in someone else's mess He was continuously the only car before he got took out making passes and let's be honest if he doesn't get caught up in that wreck he probably takes the lead before the end of stage 2 also if any of you people watched he didn't run good in the truck race and got took out when he actually got that truck handling decent so that have a bad overall day he has a right to be upset No I think we should all just hold these drivers to the word when they say they're going to go up there and move somebody out of the way which is what they were suggesting with Denny Hamlin and did he handle is basically talking about and then they don't back up their statements which modern NASCAR drivers when they say they're going to move somebody out of the way they never do it

he did leave enough room, just because the drivers behind him don't know what letting off the gas is especially when there's a wreck ahead of you, i don't blame that on Newman, he managed to straight out himself pretty well and avoid wrecking, the 4 had to move up a bit to avoid him, but the 14 was going to fast under the circumstances and ended up getting pushed in the wall by the 4.

Deep down inside it must hurt these guys feelings knowing that Ol Jim Bob that races his late model car at Senoia or Dixieland on a Saturday night could come out there with his own car with a different gear ratio in the quick change and absolutely decimate this entire field. Either that or these guys are oblivious to Jim Bob or late model racing as a whole and still don't realize how a windshield could be hurting their performance on a dirt track. What a joke.

Was anyone listening to Denny's radio for this? Was it his choice to run the top or was his spotter telling him to try to find speed up there. I know you as a driver have to run what feels most comfortable but he easily could've moved Joey up the track turn one on the restart if he had run the bottom.

There is a reason why dirt racers don't run stock-looking bodies and all those rear-ends getting loose shows why. If you are going to run dirt, put some wings on them to keep the wrecks down just for safety reasons alone.

Wtf are you talking about. Larson is obviously going to complain about Bell when Bell ruins his day. He’s also trying to keep his laps so that he can keep as many points as possible since you get points for completing laps and he’s also hoping to gain his laps back through lucky dogs or wave arounds to possibly get a good finish. Y’all want drivers to be honest and show their personality, but when drivers show their personalities, you cry about it. You literally have no room to complain when you’re doing the same thing by whining whenever a driver complains about something not going their way.

Bell, Who I thoroughly enjoy his hard driving, pretty much ruined the race for me taking himself out too early and Larson who was 40th to 5th in 50 laps! I used to put Bell in the "Larson type" regarding wheelman skills. This took a major setback to be held at that standard now. IMO I am sure both will easily bounce back but still disappointing.

I agree. I’m all about the dirt guys! 5 being my favorite driver, I also pull for 20 but seeing him spin like that kinda disappointed me, especially knowing how good he is on dirt. But in contrast I guess a cup car and a sprint/midget are two different sides of the spectrum. At least we get the shot again next year tho! I just figured for a better race for the 20 because of how good Larson and Bell run each other at the chili bowl.

I get that Larson is frustrated that he was part of Bell’s crash. I get it, I would be frustrated too. But Bell just went too high and spun and Larson had nowhere to go. So I don’t understand why Larson would push Bell on pit road after the crash. Personally, he overreacted.

@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT it literally was Bell’s fault, he tried running the same line a few laps before and said that it was too greasy, then he tried it again and wrecked. He made the mistake and it ruined Larson’s day as well as his own, plus you have Chastain not yielding during the caution and ramming right into the accident which did a large portion of the damage. This is the 2nd time this season that Bell made a mistake that either wrecked a contender for the race or the entire field like at Daytona. Chastain has pretty much wrecked or spun every race it seems so I’m starting to wonder why Chastain was moved up to cup.

It shouldnt be a points race. That should be the all star event. Include the Truck and Xfinity drivers. 3 days of heat races and put the top 20 in a dirt mods that are prebuilt and all the same. Let em fight it out for 100 laps for all the cash. IROC on dirt style.

Hamlin is the top points leader how? Zero wins. Larson has a win and ties Hamlin for 3 stage wins. Larson has over 300 laps led, but Hamlin leads on points. BS.
