There were many, but the absolute on my feet, emotions up and tense all day was the Southern 500 when Jeff won the Winston Million. From all the pre race hype, to the t shirts under the guys crew uniforms, The simple, yet very relevant additions to the cars paint scheme and the battle with Burton at the end, I was jumping up and down. Witnessing only the 2nd driver to claim the Winston Million was epic.

As an Earnhardt guy, I have to say Jeff Gordon is easily one of the best ever to do it. There is absolutely no argument about that.

Just saying but if we didn’t have these god awful Playoffs Jeff would be a 7 time champion and Kevin would be a 4 both of these former drivers got robbed by the Chase and the Playoffs Jeff in 04, 07 and 2014, Kevin in 2010, 2015 and 16, and 2020! In my eyes and in the eyes of I say a good chunk of people Jeff is a 7 time champion and Kevin is a 4 time champion and I’ll say again, these drivers were robbed along with Kenseth in 2006, Edwards in 2011,and Byron in 2023 the best drivers overall somehow in those years lost the title because, drama and gimmicks went over the integrity of what once was! MAKE THE WINSTON CUP POINTS SYSTEM GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!

The original "bump-and-run" from spring Bristol, 1997 vs. Rusty Wallace. I was in my living room alone watching the race. I had accepted that he was gonna run 2nd, which was fine considering Rusty was "Mr. Bristol" and Jeff had already won 2 races in '97, including the Daytona 500. Then that last corner of the last lap occurred. Like Ray, I was going crazy, astonished by what I just saw. I will never forget Benny(R.I.P, sir) screaming with excitement, "Here comes Jeff Gordon to take the lead!" Still gives me chills. Thanks for the memories, Jeff 24ever.

To everyone saying JG should be a 7X cup champ, you race under the format you have. That's like saying Dale Sr would have 10 cups and 7 Daytona 500's if not for cut tire, seagull or crashes. The playoff format is bs and does not belong in this type of sport, but you race what you've got.

Jeff. Gordon was always my driver when I started watching on a regular basis back in nineteen ninety five. As the years went on and younger drivers approached the circuit.Especially a guy like martin truex junior and kyle bush. Then You have kevin harvick situation where he basically took over charge of the number three car and they change the number. Kevin didn't excellent part at filling that void in the series. Now that Martin truex junior has retired from full-time racing.I'm not sure what driver i'm gonna use as my own. I'm not a huge fan of chase Elliot.T or William Byron or anybody at Hendrick.Motorsports sports for that fact. I believe for a while.Ryan blaney will be a good choice to follow along with or even a ross chastein

@@CowboyKee So what exactly was the clickbait? Jeff and Kevin both looked up to and respected Dale. Kevin signed with RCR because Dale was there. And people who weren’t fans argue this, but when Dale was alive the fanbase was 50% Earnhardt and 50% everyone else. If talking about and telling story’s about Dale gets views there’s a reason. If people didn’t want to hear it they wouldn’t watch.
