Was at the track for this race, and all I can say is... incredible. Great experience, great race, AWESOME finish. If you're a NASCAR fan, you owe it to yourself to go to a race when you can. The fans are amazing, the tracks are great facilities (Kentucky Speedway itself is pretty immaculate and has come a long way since the 2011 disaster), and the experience pales in comparison to watching on TV. GO. TO. A. RACE. You will not regret it.

That win was amazing! And I'm extremely happy to see another Chevrolet in victory lane, and a Hendrick engine in victory lane But I really hope Elliott can get out of this summer slump soon! 2 DNFs and just no good cars so far.... Anyways let's get going!!! #di9 I would love to see Johnson win soon he's had good cars but some bad luck and bad pit calls but Byron on the other hand! Holy moly his year so far is looking somewhat similar to Elliott's 2017 season! Would love to see him get his 1st win!

I realize it was only 1 top 5.... But what I'm saying is, he's getting better and better results and running well.... Sorry for the misunderstanding.

So why did Byron get a restart violation? I thought you could beat the leader to the line unless it was the first start of the race. Kyle Busch passed Eliot to the line at Phoenix this year and did not get anything?
@jasonstraight13205 жыл бұрын
Upon review, they declared Byron hit the gas first. On restarts, the leader controls the restart. Therefore, Byron violated it. He knew it and tried to back down, getting hit by Almirola. It sucks, but it will just have to be a lesson for the young boy wonder.
