2011 NASCAR Qualifying Laps (Part 1)

Here's a video full of various qualifying runs and poles from the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season that I've put together from all the tracks in the schedule for 2011 with the Gen 5 car. Managed to get lots in HD so enjoy the first of many 2011 qualifying videos on my channel. Part 2 will be coming out very soon.

2011 was the last great year of NASCAR, IMO. The cars were beautiful, the broadcasts were colorful in terms of both the graphics and commentary, and the pre-race coverage was much more entertaining. NASCAR Raceday was at its peak and Speed still existed in both the cars and the television guides. I miss this.

If only they were turning them to almost 10,000 now they can still go fast but they need way more power so the drivers can work a bit harder on keeping them from spinning out in a turn or something they have too much wide open time nowadays

Funny you ask that, as a few months ago I edited a photo of Kevin harvicks 2019 car at Atlanta, I took off the current spoiler and put a COT wing on it with the old style splitter from COT. Man it looked super strange having COT feathers on a gen 6 car. But they don’t suit it. If any spoiler that suits the gen 6 the best in terms of looks it’s the 2015 and 2016 spoiler

They sound so much better because the cars back then had over 900 horsepower and a much higher rate of RPM. the cars now have 550 horsepower

Ender James surprisingly they’re all on KZbin. Just buried in old stuff and as they’re just single clips each they don’t get views. I searched all qual runs from 2008-2017 and no joke it took me atleast 2 week to find as many clips as I can.
