The guy who helped him out did a great thing and I'm sure there are many homeless people who who benefit from this. It's well known that if a homeless person get a property, things can start to get better. However, some have mental health/social issues that can prevent them from staying there for too long. In order to fix the problem of homelessness, there needs to be more than just housing.

People don’t understand how hard it is to be homeless. They think that anyone can just go to a shelter or go to welfare and it’s just not true . All the shelters are full and welfare doesn’t help unless you have kids. It’s a terrible situation for many and peoples hearts are cold. Come back, God, Christ rise, we need you!

The things that Mike doesn't have however are trauma and/or mental illness. Those are the main things that lead people to chronic homelessness and addiction and they also makes it nearly impossible to get out. We need to have more mental health and counseling support available to the homeless if we want to make a real change.

the easiness to make money in the us amazes me. this could never happen in europe, especially in my country greece, where hustling is almost non existent due to market and opportunities limitations and a shit ton of rules for everything. nobody whould rent you a place without a job and steady income, nobody would ever rent you office space which is very expensive without months in advance and for sure no company would collaborate with you, just because you are good with social media. but kudos to him to make all that happen. us is really the land of opportunity where any hard working person can make a lot of money.
