Assalamu 3laykum Brother, hear me out there is something that needs to be adressed (the elephant in the room). I'm mainly going to talk about men because I'm a man. Ok, us men we hit puberty around 13 years old, we develope a profound attraction for women and sexual desires. What are we supposed to do wth these feeling. When is a man supposed to get married? Should he fast a few days a week until he is 25 years old? There is a huge hypocrisie amoung us muslims. Let me explaine, our parents expect us to get married at around 25-30 (when we are settle with job house ect...) This way of thinking is taken from the non muslims. It suits them because at around 15, 16 ect.. they are in relationships and doing everything a husband and wife do together .ie having intercouse, spending time together ect.. And our young muslim know that these things are wrong but they live in a hyper sexualised sociaty. Since the sexual desires are do strong in men and are awakened by looking this makes life just more difficult. Thus offcourse leads to masturbation, pornography ect... And also haram relationships since the men know they can't get married any time soons, so they just talk with women at first nothing flirty but just yo help them dezl with the frustration, the eventually it leads to zina visiting prositues ect... And finally Jahannam. Getting married cost 30000£, and having a girlfriend cost 2 cinema tickets and popcorns, what have we done to the deen of Allah. WHY ARE PARENTS OBLIVIOUS TO THIS?? Sorry for the super long comment pls an episode about this ussue !!!

Bro, mind you this comes from a westernized way of thinking. In Islam you can marry as soon as you hit puberty. However, the upbringing of most Muslims doesn't not prepare children to form a family. This is again, nothing to do with Islam. Parents need to have a better understanding of Islam and prepare you not to conform with western ideals but with islamic realities.

Just a tip, big arguments usually activate the stress response (the sympathetic nervous system aka the fight or flight system) & once you’re in this state, higher cortical functioning goes out the window, so you can’t think properly which is why couples tend to scream and shout instead of using effective methods of communication. So if you find your heart starts racing etc tell your spouse you need a break, calm down (some research says it takes 20 minutes) and come back to discuss the issue when you’re both calm. Then you can both effectively communicate. Sisters you wont be able to use your charm when you’re in that stressful state, so calm down first. & like they said, don’t use your charm for manipulation because it’s not right & your spouse will feel like you’re taking advantage and it could cause a lot of other issues. Be smart & use your femininity to bring peace and tranquility into your home.

I don’t think so. Because at the end everyone just want someone who listen and care for them. You just have to say it first and see if the girl is okay with that. For exemple if she is a really talkative person I think she won’t mind she will speak for both 😂😂 you just have to listen to her. But if you don’t talk and don’t have the patience to listen either I think you have to work your on that cause it’s really important for the communication (the listing part).

It will be tiring for him to have to take the first step all the time, so tell yourself that this is a matter of the health of your relationship, and therefore of your marriage. So you will be rewarded for your efforts. Tell yourself that the person you have in front of you is no more and no less than your husband. You have to see him as new your bff, your life partner and that's what he is. And above all, I hope that you will have someone who will be able to make you feel comfortable and confident because it helps a lot. I would also say let time do things. Don't force yourself to find out what to say just to talk. Just be attentive to him and what he likes and then you'll find out what to talk about. You see at the beginning it can just be: How was your day? How was your soccer game? Did you score a goal today? I used to love candy when I was little and what was your thing? Then as time goes by you will know him, vice versa , and the topics will get deeper. (Please Bare with my English, I am French soooooo....)
