I never understood why people rage at this phone. It's a top tier specced phone with a below average battery. It will simply not last as long as an iphone, true. But where's the harm in quickly charging your phone when coming home after work or school? It's a small battery so it does charge up rather quick. It's smaller so alot more comfortable. And if you need to charge your s22 after work or school, the s22+ will most likely also need a charge before going to bed.

The battery isn’t as bad a people say, the only battery that I used, that was horrible after a while was the iPhone 13 mini

You know what, you gave me some hope, because this was legit a good run down of heavy usage. I was concerned about battery life but if you say this is what killed it after 4 hrs and 28 mins, I use KZbin, Facebook, and listen to music with frequency. So in theory I should get 6 hours of it? Also can you adjust the display like former galaxy phones? I had a S8 Active that pretty much met my needs without complaints.

yea you can and you should definitely be able to get 6 hours with it, my test was More extreme so if you're not using power heavy app then yours will do just fine✊🏾❤️

@@naseemspeach I guess I got forgot a frame of reference. Until December 2021, my main phone for a bit was S8 ACTIVE. So I'm used to the small battery capacity. Though as you say, S22+ and Ultra have bigger battery (don't know about battery life at the moment of typing this), I'll keep that in mind.

The s22 can last you longer than this. First of all this was pretty non stop usage. But you can disable background activities, lower the brightness or even cap it at 60hz simply by using battery saving modus. When I do that on my s20 it lasts alot longer. He was also on 5G. Even if he had the s22+ he'd need to recharge before going to bed.

Trust me, if size matters to you, you'll prefer charging ur phone twice a day over having a too big phone. On top of that, if the s22 won't last you a day, chances are the s22+ also won't. It's also a small battery so charging it when you come home from work or school is plenty quick.

If you're still wondering about this: so far it seems like the snapdragon performs slightly better in most areas but the exynos did better with some other apps. However, this isn't much of a difference and the main difference seems to be with stand by time. The snapdragon lost alot less battery over a 12hour stand by period

The good thing is the Samsung Galaxy S 22 charges pretty fast and most people use their car charger while they’re driving back-and-forth and also have a charger at work so the battery life should not be an issue with this phone! I’m loving mind :-)

He actually got decent battery life. 4h30 with GPS and 5G for over 2 hours and a half with maximum brightness... imagine dark mode + reduce brightness to 60% and you'll easy get over 5h30... also most people will not use 5G (or 4G) all thr time...

Had this phone , worst 2 years of my life with phone. Battery life just died to quick and didn't optimize well with the processor as the phone would die or need charge in under 4-5 hours. Unless this phone was plugged , battery just drained quick. Battery saving mode would be the only way to extend the battery life, however, it would limit the overall experience of using it

If you want a compact phone and truly amazing battery life 13Pro is the way to go, also 13 does very very well, but if you want Android this phone does good too. He got a good SoT with maximum brightness and 5G, while driving a lot so the phone keeps connecting to cell towers continously, dark mode and reduce brightness and you easily get 20-25% of more battery in my opinion. Anyway, I have the S22 and I never charge it to 100%, though I know that if needed I can plug it in at work or home during the day so not a big deal of course I wish they were almost as good as 13 line up. I feel like what Apple does WAY better is standby.

Yikes. At least this was the base model not the plus! I'm going to turn my 5g off, and my phone onto dark mode to prolong battery life. Apparently there's also something you can do to adaptive brightness to help save power. Lol your traffic looked good, come try central Johannesburg, especially when there's loadshedding 🤣🤣
