After leaving the music industry in 1990 I remember hearing this inspirational song that helped me with my young walk with the Lord. Isn't it amazing!

Oh my goodness! I love this song. I was a teenager when I first heard this song. I was going through a real rough time in my life and this song encouraged me so much. It is the one song that I could remember would edify and help to keep going strong in th Lord.

This is a very great song and having met Mark several times he is a very genuine person. Sure would like to see someone post and/or tab "With Me Anywhere". I love the vocals he contributed to Eddie DeGarmo's "There's Something About That Name".

Great song. Great vocal. Didn't know Farner had such a great voice outside of the rock genre.

I actually sent John Beland a "Thank You" through our Myspace friend links. He was nice enough to answer me too. I was thrilled. I'm told Mark used to sing this as part of his encore. I'd love it if he's start doing it again.

This wonderful song has touched so many of us and helped bring us to God's kingdom! I gave my testimony on a local radio station while this song played in the background. (because the station and the song were significant) They gave me the testimony CD. It's awesome to have that to play back with Mark singing in the background! I highly recommend recording your testimony in your own voice!

I remember hearing this song on the radio in my car back in 1989, hey that's Mark Farner and the volume knob went way up.

Sorry... I think I'm gonna...ah, ah, ah.... All right, I'll be nice and just say I'm going to quickly find "something else" by Mark Farner to listen to. I personally found his music prior to this to be as soulful and spiritual as anything to come out of him. It was real, vibrant, full of passion and "Closer to Home" is a testament to Living through life's trials and being rewarded at the end of it's hard journey with the blessing of going "home". This music just sounds contrived and doesn't resonate with me at all.
