My main 'dont" is dont come here and say "i like it here. im gonna move here.' No we are full. my commute used to be 12 minutes. Now its 45 to an hour. LOL

@@billclay9489say this again. I was one of those people in 2019 and regret it. Nashville draws you in with the bar scene but the novelty wears off after 3 months when you realize how lame the people are here, 40 years still hooked on whippets, the crime, the homelessness everywhere…and don’t even think about bringing your marriage here unless you stay CLEAR the fuck out of the city. Nashville is where your marriage vows don’t mean shiiiiiit. I saw my boss who’d recently just got married basically fuck the whole staff at one of those Arcade bars.

If you are visiting from outside the USA remember to carry ID with you. Despite being and looking well over twenty one we were refused entry to bars and clubs because my husband didn’t have any form of ID with him. We had left our passports in the hotel safe along with his driving license as we were picking up a hire car at the end of our stay in Nashville and he didn’t want to risk losing it. In the UK you are not required to carry ID at all times so we didn’t give it a thought.

You dont have to worry about disturbing locals because locals live far away from downtown so were not worried about you. As for the ones who live in apartments downtown. Well who cares. They chose to live downtown so they obviously like the noise and tourist yelling at all hours of the night so it comes with your $3000 a month studio apartment. LOL I live in Hermitage. You aint gonna bother me. Even if you come to the Rusty Nail, i wont hear you. enjoy.

As a black car company owner, I 100% encourage you to not drive downtown! Not only is parking expensive, non-commercial traffic makes traffic worse for everyone!! Hire a car!!! One "do" to add is to grab your ride off of Commerce or Demonbruen above Rep. John Lewis (5th) , not off Broadway.

Drive downtown but park 3 blocks from broadway like church street or Koreans blvd. Any further and you will spend 50% of your night in a car going nowhere.

Don’t recommend public transportation to any tourists. I’d hate to think of the experience a tourist would have on Nashville city busses. The bus system is not designed for tourists at all. Maybe you could mention The Music City Star, but even that’s a stretch.

Like ye but coming from somewhere where public transports are accessible and easy to use it feels bad to have to uber around everywhere.
