I have a bucket list food item in Nashville and I haven't gone yet. It's Five Daughters' Bakery. I don't know how far it would be from your downtown area, might have to Uber to it. Anyway, they have a 100 layer doughnut filled with vanilla cream. I saw it on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on Food Network and I have to have it.

Why the Parthenon recreation? Nashville was also considered the Athens of the South because of at the universities, etc. so the Parthenon was the center place of Tennessee's 100th Birthday celebration in Centennial Park.

Not sure why Nashville has a replica of the Parthenon? It was built during the centinenal of Nashville. Nashville has many different universities so it is called the "Athens of the south" that is why the Parthenon was built.

Peg leg porker is the worst BBQ on the planet. Frozen Walmart pulled pork is better than this. Only locals eat there. I wish they would close it down but out of towers dont know so they eat there. If nashville wasnt a tourist place. Peg Leg Porker would be shut down in 2 months. i cant watch the rest of this video knowing you ate there and like it. im a nashville native, born and raise. Im sorry you missed out on Cantrells, the best BBQ in the world.
