Stick with them til midday if you can the hens will split off to nest at some point in the morning and leave him lonely

Wait until the hens leave the gobbles, they’ll get lonely and shock gobble. 9/10 times you can get him to come to you. Killed mine like that

I live in east Tennessee and the turkeys haven't been gobblin as good as they were last year for some reason they will gobble for about a day and stop for a week

@@swvafarmer they have hens pal. no need for them to gobble when they have hens all around them. just how these birds were. *brings the hen decoy instead of the jake decoy, makes a whole lot of sense. when you see two long beards, you probably oughta bring a jake decoy to pull them in closer. nonetheless, they got it done… killing private tennessee birds is like taking candy from a baby.

Lee I hope you see this comment. When you first started getting into turkeys you didn’t seem that fired up about it. I think because you just didn’t understand all that goes into it. Well let me tell ya, I can see already you are well on your way to being the same with these birds as you are with those big bucks. You already got it figured out that woodsmanship kills turkeys and calling comes second. Nothing wrong with your calling even though it’s a little rough around the edges. And hey your owl wasn’t bad, just slow it down a hair. That old school real tree is where it’s at! Also tell Kendall to fix the bill on his hat, he’s over 40……
