SO helpful to see a woman doing this project!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've watched countless hours of dudes tiling and remodeling and found your video and you just made the whole process so much more approachable. Even just showing situations like when the bucket slips from in between your legs during the mixing process is a great reminder to smaller people what it looks like to tackle physical projects. I haven't seen that in a male video and wouldn't have really thought about! And a big thank you for showing every single step before hyper lapsing!

Not gonna lie, I'd just spent an hour or so watching other "handyman" tips and tricks videos and was really just a bit done. I saw this video in the feed and thought "okay, they've got a model that's going to show me how to lay tile... this should be hilarious!... I'm gonna check it out". Not hilarious. I learned more watching this than all of the other videos combined. I was on the fence as to whether this was something I felt I could do well or not. I have decided I'm going to do the bathroom myself after all. Really useful video, filled with tips and tricks. Thank you so much for putting this level of effort into it. Another great video Nassrin!!! Your cut out for the toilet flange is totally professional and the one made by my contractor looks like a complete hack job!!! Well done! The velcro strap on the knee pads are too large for the diameter of your legs - you can add some padding to the inside of the straps where it contacts the back of your legs to cut down on the excess length so they won't fall off when you stand up. Or you can just add more padding on the inside of the knee pad cups and this basically does the same thing in taking up the excess slack on the straps. @36:37 for the power tool electrical connection to the extension cord - before plugging the tool in, make an X with the end of the power tool plug and the end of the extension cord by laying one on top of the other. Then, take one cord and cross over the other and then plugging both together. This way, it forms an interlocking coupling that resists the electrical connection from being pulled apart if there is any tension on the cord as you pull it. Hope that helps. Great job and keep the videos coming!

O yea very fascinating interesting. Looks very easy the way she explains special how to cut the hole with the template. I call ( stencil) that make it very easy cause you want to cut the hole on the plywood where the flange for the toilet will go . Good Idea to use piece of cardboard to .use as a template make sure stuck piece of big rag into the drain to prevent big trash to fall into the sewer drain . As well use gloves/ mask / safety glasses 👌

Hello, you asked for suggestions for alternate knee pads. We have been using Chainsaw chaps with at least 8 layers of kevlar or similar protection like these - ZELARMAN Chainsaw Chaps Apron Wrap 8-layer for Men/Women Loggers Forest Workers Protective Chain Saw Pants Adjustable- yes they are comical looking but they do not bind uncomfortably on the back of your knee. I am a husky guy and feel that they offer enough padding that I disposed of my old knee pads. That is my major complaint with knee pads, that the straps hurt the back of my knees and that they do not stay up. I have used the chaps for gardening too while on my knees weeding, planting, laying a flagstone patio and they are comfortable and have held up extremely well. Thank you for your excellent tiling videos. They are a great resource!

Nassrin, I was SO CLOSE to hiring someone to do my small bathroom to tile the floor (similar in size to the one you did in this video) then I randomly came across your video and realized I could do it myself. I am a handy person but was worried about messing up something that could be so hard to fix. I think laying out and cutting the tile before you ever mix the mortar is such a brilliant was to approach and plan this. By doing it like that it allowed me to take my time and get it done right. I just finished getting all the cuts done and the tile laid out so I can make sure I am happy with it and now today I begin the mortar! I really appreciate how thorough you were with both the process and your little tips to make our lives easier but also your cheerful "can do" attitude. So glad I found this video. You gave me the confidence boost I needed to take it on and now I can't wait to finish to start my master bathroom very soon! Thank you!
