I really admire the fact that she wants to stick with a manual gearshift and the fact that you guys are helping her to home that is awesome. Every race car now practically has an automatic that’s air shifted and she really likes a manual trans. Good job you guys it’s awesome that you keep showing her little tricks to get better.

Molly, you are awesome. Keep chipping away at it. I know I would do one think to help out? Look at what gears are in Cleetus manual transmission 😉. That's the ticket to really banging gear's. Or send it to Liberty Gears (Transmission) and have them set the Transmission up to your vehicle and driving style. You won't be disappointed at all. Then everyone better watchout because you will be extremely quick. Besides that? Don't change a thing and relax a little and have a blast.

Great progress, racing a stick car takes a lot of skill, and I’d say your doing a lot better than most of the guys you’ll be going against. So many people are stuck on the ls but a proper built Windsor can clean house, hell the ls kind of copied it.

I’ve got a built 302 that will clean house lol it’s a nitrous car. But it is a auto car because I can’t find a Manuel to stay together. One u get so fast the stick can’t handle it and your always messing clutch’s up but mostly gears turn to dust

Clean car looks good a friend had one like that back in a day started out 4 cylinder turbo ended up with V8 and switched to automatic it was more fun as a standard.

Twenty years ago I helped my daughter learn how to dragrace and she had trouble keeping the pedal on the mat. She would lift in high gear but she got over it.

I'd have to disagree with dumping the clutch. It's a quick way to break output shaft, u-joints, twist the drive shaft, strip teeth on the pinion and ring gear, axles, break traction on launch. But I'm no drag racing expert. Just had to replace all for mentioned parts!

Hey Molly, nice attempt at the line flare. It just takes a little practice but you want to get a double flare tool. It makes the flare much more durable.
