That song is about his difficult relationship in high school by the way. He was already on the come up in SA hip hop and his girl was finishing high school and they were drifting apart. His part is actually what his girl was saying to him then, so he’s expressing her feelings.

Sade I hear what you say: there is a vol 2, and vol. 3 with all those elements you mentioned that you would have loved to see. All volumes are the same song and lyrics but the visuals are different with each one (Something for everyone). He worked with different top noch directors and producers in S.A. for all these volumes, I think the idea was to show all angles and interpretations of this song as we all know that we are unique and we also interpret this differently but the common thing is that S.M.A. is a story of love with some aspects (of a relationship) that many if not all people can relate to. S.M.A. is actually a true story of the highs and lows (and highs again) of the relationship between Nasty C and his high school sweetheart and longtime girlfriend (Sammie). S.M.A. vol 2. video details this as from the time his journey to stardom was beginning and the toll it took on their relationship. Visuals in volume 2 show a young girl who has a striking resemblance to Nasty's Sammie and young Nasty C rapping in school. If you watch volume to and listen to the lyrics the story makes a lot of sense and clarity. Good thing is they broke up, with his rise to stardom playing a part, but they are now back together and seem to be happily in love and stronger more then ever after dealing with the issues they had.
